Pregnancy & Trimesters

I’ve wrote before how it was in my pregnancy and everything. You can check that out here.

First Trimester

I spent majority of my pregnancy not knowing I was pregnant. You are probably thinking how didn’t you know lol. Here’s how I had just started a new job, just moved out on my own. I honestly thought It was stress on why my period was late. It was my friend who suggested I take a pregnancy test because I was always tired. Well I took the test and I was in deed PREGNANT.

I really didn’t know how to feel about it. Because me and the guy was just having casual sex.

I had decided not to tell him because I didn’t really know how he would react to It.

At the time only a few people knew I was pregnant and that was my bestfriend at the time, my friend and manager at work.

Fast Forward

It was thanksgiving when I finally told my family. I told my mom at 2:00 o’clock in the morning lol. My mom suggested I get an abortion because it’s hard raising a baby but I wanted to keep my baby.

I still haven’t told the father because I didn’t want to involve him and I honestly didn’t know if he wanted to be in babyari life.

Second Trimester

January 1st I decide to finally tell him to give him a choice on what he wanted to do. I didn’t have the right to decide for him. His reaction was what I expected too. He told he was in “shock”.

I wanted him apart of babyari life, but I wasn’t going to force him either. I let him decide on what he wanted to do.

February, I had to go to the hospital because I couldn’t breathe. I got diagnosed with Pyelonephritis and Dyspnea.

I found out in March the gender of babyari. It’s A Girl! I was having a sweet babygirl. At that time her name was going to be Allyson Rose.

Third Trimester

I was almost at the finish line!! I was ready for it to be over because It was getting hot and i was irritable.

End of April, my mom, sister & bestfriend planned me a baby shower. It was really nice and I enjoyed myself and the people who came.

Here’s when things started going down for us. It was May 4th, I had cooked dinner but I was in pain after I ate dinner so I went to bed early. I end up going to the emergency room late that night because of the pain. I got transferred from the first hospital to another because they didn’t do a particular test.

On May 11th, I went back to the hospital because I was still very sick. I took the medication that was prescribed and everything.  I got transferred to the main hospital again because they didn’t deliver prematurely.

May 13th, they started preparing me for delivery, but before they had finally got one of my test results back and they found out my kidney had an infection, my liver was damaged and my gallbladder bursted. That night they removed my gallbladder instead of babygirl.

Some people don’t know this but I was on a ventilator for a few days. Remembering anything from may 2017 is still a struggle.

Allyson NaLani was born on May 14th. I didn’t meet her until later because of my high fevers and heart rate. I was in the ICU for a few weeks until I moved into a regular floor. We stayed in the hospital until about June.

Ally is healthy and growing everyday.

below are some pictures from my baby shower

It takes a lot of guts to share your pregnancy like this! Someone out there needs to see your testimony!

Oh I can’t imagine how hard emotionally that must have been… The hormones alone! And then the diagnosis. Oh baby! She’s worth it all! That’s all I got. She’s worth it. Every bit!
